Terms of Sale

These terms govern the purchase of digital products from Datum AEC. By completing a purchase you agree to them.

What you are buying

Datum AEC sells digital files. Nothing physical is shipped. The Revit Project Template consists of:

• The Revit template file, delivered for Revit 2025, 2026 and 2027
• A shared parameters file in .txt format
• A getting-started guide

What each product contains is described on its product page. That description is the standard the product is sold against.

Price and payment

All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). Payment is handled by Stripe through its hosted checkout. Datum AEC never receives or stores your card details.

Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. Those are outside Datum AEC's control.

Delivery

Files are delivered by email to the address used at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment. If nothing has arrived within 24 hours, check your spam folder and then email raul@datumaec.com.

Your licence

On payment you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your firm. Under that licence you may:

• Use the files on an unlimited number of projects, commercial or otherwise
• Install and use them across your whole firm, on any number of machines and by any number of employees
• Modify, extend and adapt them to suit your own standards and workflows
• Issue models and drawings derived from them to your clients and project teams

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, share or sublicense the files, modified or unmodified, whether for payment or free of charge
• Publish them anywhere they can be downloaded by anyone outside your firm
• Sell or distribute them as part of another template, library or product
• Pass them to a separate legal entity, including a parent, subsidiary or joint venture partner, which requires its own licence

Copyright and all other intellectual property in the files remains with Datum AEC. You are buying a licence to use them, not ownership of them.

Refunds

Purchases are covered by a 7 day money-back guarantee, set out in full in the Refund Policy.

What is not promised

The files are supplied as described on the product page. Beyond that description, they are supplied as they are. Datum AEC does not warrant that they will suit every workflow, meet the requirements of any particular client or authority, or be free of every defect.

You are responsible for reviewing and testing the files before using them on live project work, and for the professional content of anything you produce with them. To the extent permitted by law, Datum AEC's total liability arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Your data

Personal data collected during a purchase is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated, and any change will be published on this page with a new date at the top. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published at the time you bought.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute is subject to the competent courts of the State of Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico, and both parties waive any other jurisdiction that might apply by reason of their present or future domicile.
