Refund Policy

Every Datum AEC purchase is covered by a 7 day money-back guarantee.

The guarantee

If the template does not meet the standard described on its product page, email raul@datumaec.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

The product page is the standard. If what you received does not match what that page says it contains, that is a valid refund request, and the judgement is not a difficult one.

How to request a refund

Email raul@datumaec.com from the address you used at checkout, within 7 days of your purchase. Telling me what did not meet the standard is useful, because it is how the product gets better, but it is not a condition of the refund.

You do not need to delete the files before requesting a refund. Once a refund is issued, the licence granted in the Terms of Sale ends, and you must stop using the files and remove them from your systems.

How long it takes

Refund requests are answered within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank typically takes a further 5 to 10 business days to show the money back in your account, which is outside Datum AEC's control.

Refunds are issued in US dollars for the amount paid. Where your bank applied a currency conversion, the amount you receive back in your own currency may differ slightly because exchange rates move.

After 7 days

The guarantee runs for 7 days. After that window, refunds are at Datum AEC's discretion. If something has genuinely gone wrong, email anyway. This is a small business, not a returns department.

Questions before buying

If you are unsure whether a product fits your firm, ask before you purchase rather than buying to find out. Email raul@datumaec.com and you will get a straight answer, including when the answer is that it is not a good fit.
